The Excelsior Fencing Academy in Nelson Mandela Bay will be the proud host of the National Fencing competition where more than 120 top fencers will compete. This competition is also the Junior World Qualifier Cut-off as well as the Senior African Qualifier. The best in South Africa will be in action. The event,organised by Jessica and Jon-Paul Raper, will also showcase some Eastern Cape fencers participating as part of the academy’s Youth Development Programme. The event, which will feature various matches, will take place on February 8 and 9 at the Tramways venue, from 09:00 to 16:00. Photo: TOD BURNS
