Cara Paulse, a pupil of Frank Pietersen Music Centre, Paarl has once again been selected to take part in the Best Achievers competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last year, Cara played her Unisa Grade 8 violin exam and was one of the top 10 candidates invited to Pretoria with her teacher Hadley Duminy to take part in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This time around, the La Rochelle Girls\u2019 High matric pupil played her Unisa Grade 8 piano exam, and has once again been invited to Pretoria to take part in the same competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be part of the Best Achievers\u2019 for the second consecutive year, playing another instrument is a remarkable achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cara has been playing violin since the age of four. At age 11 she started playing the piano, and most notably at her age she can play Mozart\u2019s Sonata in B Flat Major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is a difference between being able to play something and playing it well,\u201d says Cara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
