\u201cOn searching a house in Diane Street members seized dagga and Mandrax tablets, one firearm holster, one round of ammunition, two flat-screen television sets, a scale and an undisclosed amount of cash,\u201d Paarl East police spokesperson Capt Basil Seekoei said. The suspect appeared in the Paarl Magistrates\u2019 Court on 7 January. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A police vehicle was stoned during the operation, damaging one window. Lt Col Mzimkulu Jack, Paarl East Vispol head, condemned this behaviour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
