According to Cloete they were approached by consultants working on this radio-tunnel project, and asked if they would be interested to be a part of it. He also acknowledges that this is a great privilege and opportunity for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The radio station\u2019s General Manager Gavin Meiring also added: \u201cKC listeners can now hear us throughout the Huguenot Tunnel and onto the eastern approach road (the N1 from the eastern tunnel entrance \/ exit up to approximately the Du Toit\u2019s Kloof Lodge). This also allows for audio break-in\u2019s in the event of an emergency exclusively for the purpose of advisory announcements related to the tunnel should it be necessary.
