\u201cI wish to remind you that the closing date for you to take part in the census has been extended to 14 May 2022,\u201d she announced this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMany of you receiving this video may think that taking part in this census is not important. However, this is not true. Government uses the information from the census to help them decide how much money to allocate to a specific province, a district or a town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI cannot stress the importance of your participation in this census enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents are strongly urged to make use of the options given to do so by completing the form online from a cellphone or any other device by visiting getcounted.statssa.gov.za<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alternatively, people can make an appointment by phoning 0800 110 248 so that a field worker can visit you at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
