He covered the 60 km between Soutkloof and Velddrif in four hours, 42 minutes and 45 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jenna Nisbet won her first title after dominating the women\u2019s race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McGregor\u2019s 12 titles are a new record. He started the last day with a slim lead of 90 seconds over the u-23 rower Uli Hart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He won the last time bonus at the Bokkom Bungalows and then led a fast leading group to the finish line in Velddrif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His overall winning time was 18:41:05.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robbie Herreveld, a six-time champion, withdrew early in the final shift due to hypothermia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nisbet had a tough final day, but was able to hold on to win in 5:13:48 and hold back Nikki Birkett, her closest opponent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
