Paarl police are seeking two men for questioning in relation to a robbery at a Pick n Pay Express Shop on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police spokesperson, Capt Louise du Plessis says the incident happened around 22:24 at a local petrol station in Jan van Riebeeck Drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe suspects had allegedly entered the premises and wandered through the shop when one suspect pointed at a cashier with a firearm and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspects fled the scene on foot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This followed after news circulated about another attempted robbery at Rembrandt Mall earlier that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThree armed men were seen in a clothing shop at a local mall in the CBD,\u201d says Du Plessis. \u201cThe store\u2019s staff reacted quickly and pressed the panic button causing the suspects to flee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
