National and local authorities have launched a nationwide manhunt for the suspects that shot and killed three men in Mbekweni on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this widely reported incident, organised-crime detectives were called to the scene in which the dead bodies were found with multiple gunshot wounds in a car and a shack on the same property, says police spokesperson Novela Potelwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spokesperson for Mbekweni police, WO Nceba Vanqa, confirmed the incident and said the victims are aged 30, 33 and 40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPolice received a complaint of a shooting at Sakhelwe Street, Dube Village in Mbekweni. On arrival they found the bodies of three Zimbabwean males with gunshot wounds, that showed no signs of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe suspects are still unknown at this stage, however, we urge anyone with information to report it to police.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the third incident in which the discovery of bodies of murder victims have been reported to police in Mbekweni in a matter of months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A murder scene reported in June revealed the beaten, lifeless bodies of a woman and a man later recognised as Leonie Jesmine Arendse and a Mozambican, known as Kiddo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their bodies were dumped in the stormwater drain between Ring Road and Project 3 in Mbekweni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an unrelated incident, an unknown woman\u2019s body was found underneath a bridge on Jan van Riebeeck Drive, Mbekweni, on 30 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her body was found stripped half naked, which caused police to suspect that she might have been raped before being murdered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To date, no post mortem results related to any one of these incidents have been released by Mbekweni police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
