Die B97-roete is sedertdien steeds gesluit omdat Cata en Codeta nie \u2019n ooreenkoms kon bereik nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mitchell het verlede week ges\u00ea die twee verenigings was in \u2019n arbitrasieproses om die kwessie op te los.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie arbitrasietoekenning is in November 2021 vrygestel, en ons het \u2019n daadwerklike poging aangewend om uitvoering aan die arbitrasie-uitslag te gee. Die arbiter het beslis die Cata Boland Taxi Association en die Paarl Alliance Taxi Association (geaffilieer aan die Codeta-streek) het wettige regte om op die B97-roete handel te dryf.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daar is dus nuwe verwikkelinge in verband met die roete, en die twee verenigings het tot \u2019n ooreenkoms gekom dat al twee se taxi-operateurs op die roete kan werk. Cata en Codeta het verlede week \u2019n amptelike ooreenkoms in die teenwoordigheid van Mitchell onderteken. Mitchell het ges\u00ea hy is vol vertroue dat die B97-roete binnekort sal heropen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVerskeie vredesgesprekke en moeilike besprekings het die afgelope jaar plaasgevind, en \u2019n ooreenkoms is onlangs bemiddel oor die deel van die omstrede Roete B97. Die memorandum van ooreenkoms sit uiteen hoe die toegekende bedryfslisensies verdeel sal word en hoe die onderskeie partye op die roete sal werk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIngevolge die ooreenkoms sal bedryfslisensies op \u2019n gelyke basis (50 \/ 50) tussen die twee verenigings verdeel word in ooreenstemming met die vraag na dienste soos aangedui in die vervoerplanne vir die gebied. Albei verenigings het hulle daartoe verbind om op te hou om nuwe lede te werf wat meer as passasiersaanvraag is en om nie toe te laat dat onwettige operateurs op roete B97 handel dryf nie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens Mitchell moet verskeie administratiewe en wetgewende prosedures nog gevolg word vir die registrasie van nuwe lede, asook die uitreiking van bedryfslisensies aan geaffilieerde lede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie roete sal gesluit bly totdat die reguleringsproses afgehandel is. Ingevolge die vervoergebeurlikheidsplan wat aan die begin van die sluitingstydperk opgestel is, sal Golden Arrow-busritte tussen Bellville en die Paarl in werking bly om pendelaars te vervoer. Die verlenging van die sluiting van hierdie roetes en taxistaanplekke sal help om die relatiewe stabiliteit wat in die openbare vervoeromgewing in die geaffekteerde gebiede herstel is, te handhaaf en
