Die huidige rekord vir die oplossing van \u2019n 3x3x3-kubus (soos Rubik s\u2019n) is 3,47 sekondes en word gehou deur die Chinees Yusheng Du.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di\u00e9 spel se gewildheid in China het ook \u2019n nuwe model uit die stal van BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industrial Corporation) sy naam besorg, synde die Beijing C52X-sportnutsmodel met sy bekendstelling in Guangzhou verlede jaar n\u00e1 \u2019n naamsoek-meningspeiling tot \u201cMofang\u201d (Chinees vir Rubik se Kubus) gedoop is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hierdie naamkeuse is klaarblyklik grotendeels te danke aan die nuwe sportnuts se aanpasbaarheid, onder meer vanwe\u00eb sy intelligente kajuit en digitale konnektiwiteit wat in samewerking met Huawei ontwikkel is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Mofang is in Julie in China beskikbaar gestel en die nuwegeslag-sportnuts van die BAIC-groep het nou, skaars drie maande later, as die Beijing X55 II in Suid-Afrika aangekom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maar waarvandaan die Beijing-benaming? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wel, sedert BAIC se ontstaan meer as 60 jaar gelede was Beijing in menige vorm deel van die motorreus se identiteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die naam is onlangs weer as prestige-handelsnaam (soos Lexus vir Toyota, Haval vir GWM en Genesis vir Hyundai) afgestof om Senova te vervang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tog sukkel BAIC \u2013 die sesde grootste vervaardiger in China en groter as Haval of Chery \u2013 n\u00e1 nege jaar steeds om \u2019n stewige vastrapplek hier te kry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selfs met \u2019n plaaslike aanleg in Gqeberha (waar die ou-tegnologie- X25- en D20-modelle gemonteer word) is die Fortune 500-maatskappy ver agter Haval en Chery wat plaaslike verkope betref. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nou lyk dit of BAIC \u2019n strategiese ommekeer gedoen het, met die X55 as tegnologiese voorloper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haval en Chery se huidige goeie verkope plaaslik het heel waarskynlik \u2019n groot rol in hierdie kopskuif gespeel en die belangrikheid van die Beijing X55 in hierdie strategie kan geensins onderskat word nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Futuristiese stilering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die X55, geskoei op die groep se BMFA-platform wat hy ook vir sy volgende elektriese voertuie (EV\u2019s) wil benut, het \u2019n futuristiese sportnuts-ontwerp met \u2019n EV-soort geslote sierrooster en \u2019n groot, skuins windskerm met versonke ruitve\u00ebrs en vloeiende flank-kurwes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Versonke deurhandvatsels (soos jy ook op Jaguar-Land Rover-modelle sal vind) dra verder by tot sy goeie sleursyfer van net 0.32 Cd en agter is die X55 met \u2019n dun LED-ligstaaf, \u2019n gesplete drukvlerk en gesplete agterklapdeur afgewerk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Binne word die avant-garde- gevoel deur \u2019n minimalistiese ontwerp, sagte materiale, \u2019n groot raakskerm vir die inligtingstelsel en \u2019n groot sondak (in die topmodelle) verhoog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die inligtingstelsel het \u2019n eiesoortige uitleg, maar dit vat geduld om aan gewoond te raak en sy werking onder die knie te kry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die grootste frustrasie is dat feitlik alle funksies in subspyskaarte van die inligtingstelsel gesoek moet word \u2013 en dit verg tyd en moeite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2019n Paar kortpad-knoppe vir die belangrikste funksies sou welkom gewees het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook is daar geen laerug-steunverstelling vir die leersitplekke in die topmodel nie (dit sal blykbaar wel binnekort beskikbaar gestel word) en die inligtingstelsel het geen Android- of IOS-spie\u00eblkonnektiwiteit nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die digitale instrumentpaneel het verskeie uitleg-verstellings, terwyl daar ook \u2019n rits USB-sokke in die kajuit is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nutsfunksies op die X55 sluit in op- en afdraandebeheer, parkeersensors voor en agter en \u2019n bestuurdersmoegheid-waarskuwing. Die topmodelle kom ook met \u2019n aansitknop, banddruk-monitor, elektriese sitplekke en \u2019n groot sondak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die reeks bestaan uit drie afwerkingsvlakke, Dynamic, Elite en Premium, en al drie word deur \u2019n 1,5-liter-turbo (130 kW, 305 Nm) aangedryf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die krag gaan met \u2019n netjiese sewegang-dubbelkoppelratkas (met vier ritmodusse \u2013 Eco, Comfort, Sport en Smart) na die voorwiele. Maar hoewel die kleinerige enjin heel lewendig en gewillig is, openbaar dit steeds effense turbotraagheid by die wegtrekslag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAIC maak aanspraak op die redelik goeie verbruik van 7 liter, maar ons ervaring was nader aan die 9 liter-merk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat wel be\u00efndruk, is die seepgladde ratwisseling en goeie rygerief oor rowwe, slaggat-gevulde paaie. Daar was wel \u2019n ligte stuurgevoel wat \u2019n mens soms laat wonder het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waarde vir geld<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat stilering, kraglewering, tegnologie en konnektiwiteit betref, lui die nuwe X55 \u2019n nuwe tydvak vir BAIC in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat prys betref, is hy in \u2019n klas van sy eie en bied ongelooflike waarde vir geld in di\u00e9 mededingende mark vir klein nutse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die X55 ding teen Hyundai se Tucson, die Kia Sportage, Toyota se RAV4 en die Volkswagen Tiguan mee, maar is meer as R150 000 goedkoper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook is hy meer bekostigbaar as die Tiggo 7 en H6 van sy Chinese mededingers Chery en Haval. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die X55 se pryse sluit \u2019n vyfjaar-100 000 km-waarborg (met \u2019n ekstra tweejaar- 40 000 km vir die dryfstelsel) in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die enigste vraagtekens is die ongetoetste betroubaarheid van die X55 en die beperkte BAIC-handelaarsnetwerk plaaslik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Met die X55 het BAIC nou die hoofstroom-mark betree en met sy aantreklike ontwerp, ho\u00eb toerustingvlak en gevorderde tegnologie teen hoogs bekostigbare pryse gaan di\u00e9 ryding die plaaslike sportnutsmark sommer lelik omkrap.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die blits-oplossing van kombinasieraaisels soos Rubik se Kubus is klaarblyklik \u2019n erkende internasionale breinspel genaamd \u201cspeedcubing\u201d.
