Johan Barkhuizen, s\u00ea hoewel die vrou in di\u00e9 stadium nog nie in die hof gepleit het nie, is sy ook geen borgtog toegestaan nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSy sal in Worcester in die vroue-gevangenis aanbly tot die saak weer in die Wellington-hof voorkom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die staat voer aan dat Van Zyl wanvoorstellings gemaak het deur voor te gee dat sy die geld in bankrekeninge van krediteure deponeer terwyl sy dit in haar eie bankrekeninge inbetaal het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die beraamde waarde van transaksies kom neer op R11,2 miljoen. Daar word vermoed dat hierdie bedrag nog kan styg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barkhuizen s\u00ea dat die vrou, wat verlede Vrydag by haar huis in Kuilsrivier in hegtenis geneem is, waarskynlik by haar volgende hofverskyning sal pleit nadat sy regsverteenwoordiging kon kry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDaar sal heel waarskynlik \u2019n borgtogaansoek ingedien word met die volgende sitting,\u201d s\u00ea hy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die staat beoog om haar borgtogaansoek teen te staan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die saak sal op 23 Januarie hervat word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die saak volg nadat lede van die Wes-Kaapse ondersoekeenheid vir handelsmisdaad operasies uitgevoer het om verdagtes in bedrogsake wat ondersoek word op te spoor en in hegtenis te neem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Wes-Kaapse polisiewoordvoerder, kapt. Frederick van Wyk, het in \u2019n aanvanklike verklaring bekend gemaak dat Van Zyl tydens di\u00e9 operasies in verband met \u2019n Wellington-bedrogsaak aangekeer is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVolgens rekords was sy in diens van \u2019n druiweplaas. In November 2021 het die plaasbestuurder die direkteur van die plaas in kennis gestel van vermeende transaksies wat deur die verdagte aangegaan is,\u201d verduidelik Van Wyk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cN\u00e1 verdere ondersoek deur die plaasbestuur het hulle \u2019n ouditfirma in diens geneem om \u2019n oudit van 2019 tot 2021 te doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDaar is toe bevind dat die verdagte blykbaar meer as 400 transaksies tussen die besigheid se rekeninge en haar persoonlike rekening uitgevoer het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u201d<\/strong><span><strong>A 43-year-old woman residing in Kuils River, Jeanette van Zyl, was arrested last Friday on charges relating to corporate fraud during her employment at a grape farm in Wellington. Following the first court hearing she was transferred to Worcester Correctional Service where she will remain until pleading her case during her next court appearance in Wellington court on 23
