On Sunday 5 March the Autumn edition of the Sunset to Full Moon Hike at Muratie will take place from Dirtopia Trail Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Breathtaking views of the winelands as you hike to the look-out at the foot of Simonsberg. These hikes are not to be missed, as there is a wine station at the picnic area on the mountain, where friends and family can relax while enjoying a glass or bottle of Muratie\u2019s Sauvignon Blanc, Blended Red or Lady Alice MCC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Total circular marked route is only 3,5 km, and it is do-able by all ages and fitness levels. Steps to the top of about 2 km that can take 30 to 45 minutes to hike. Make sure you wear good walking shoes and take your headlamp for walking down in the forest after toasting the sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coffee station will be ready on arrival from 17:30, and also open before you head home. Don\u2019t start your hike later than 18:30, as the sun sets by 19:15. Hikers can be back at the Trail Centre between 19:45 and 20:15, when they can find out who the winner is of the lucky draw \u2013 stand a chance to win a hamper from Falke socks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
