Die parmantige bobbejaan wat verlede week Paarliete op hol gehad het, het vandeesweek sowaar teruggekeer dorp toe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kees het Maandagmiddag (29\u2009Januarie), presies \u2019n week nadat hy sy verskyning in die middedorp gemaak het, besoek gaan afl\u00ea by inwoners in die Amstelhof-woonbuurt in Paarl-Oos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die gebied is gele\u00eb naby die voet van die Drakenstein-berge (Du Toitskloofpas), waar wetstoepassers van die Drakenstein-munisipaliteit en \u2019n veearts van Wellington hom verlede Maandag (22\u2009Januarie) vrygelaat het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy het verlede week in die middedorp rondgehardloop en uiteindelik by die Drakenstein-munisipaliteit se hoofkantoor vir \u2019n paar uur gaan vertoef. Hy is daarna na die landdroshof, \u2019n klipgooi weg van die munisipale gebou, waar \u2019n veearts hom uiteindelik kon verdoof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inwoners van Amstelhof was Maandagmiddag in rep en roer toe hulle die vreemde besoeker te\u00ebgekom het.Die bobbejaan het besoek gaan afl\u00ea in Jan Fiskaal- en Kanariestraat en het groot skares gelok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die bobbejaan is in \u2019n inwoner se huis vasgekeer en wetstoepassers, die Paarl-Oos-polisie asook \u2019n veearts was op die toneel om die situasie te beredder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eda Barnard, Drakenstein-munisipaliteit se uitvoerende direkteur van openbare veiligheid, het by navraag ges\u00ea \u201cdie veearts het aan Drakenstein-munisipaliteit se amptenare bevestig dat dit wel dieselfde bobbejaan is wat verlede week ook die Paarl besoek het\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns kan verder bevestig dat dit dieselfde veearts is wat verlede week die geval gehanteer het. Di\u00e9 veearts spesialiseer in die behandeling van \u2018groot diere\u2019 en is daarom spesifiek deur CapeNature aanbeveel, gegewe die unieke situasie,\u201d s\u00ea Barnard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nanandi Albers, \u2019n aktivis vir diere- en omgewingsbewaring, het aan Paarl Post ges\u00ea daar is \u2019n aantal faktore wat kon lei tot Kees se terugkeer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
