\u2019n Huisgesin van die Paarl is die afgelope Maandag (8 Julie) helder oordag beroof toe twee rowers toegang tot \u2019n woning verkry het deur hulle as Drakenstein- munisipale werkers voor te stel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens Ronette de Wet-Silver, wat saam met haar bejaarde ma en 18-jarige dogter in die Nine Oaks- woonstelblok in Markstraat woon, het twee mans omstreeks 13:00 voor die woonstelblok geroep om toegang tot die woonstelblok te kry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die mans het hulle as munisipale werkers voorgestel, wat na die woonstel se kragtoevoer moes omsien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy ma het hulle [die rowers] ingelaat by die syhek van die kompleks ingelaat, waarna hulle by die woonstel ingegaan en van kamer tot kamer gestap het.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens De Wet-Silver was sy onbewus van wat besig was om te gebeur omdat sy in \u2019n ander vertrek in die woonstel was terwyl haar bejaarde ma die rowers vergesel het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHulle het binne 10 minute als gevat,\u201d het De Wet-Silver ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goedere wat gesteel is, sluit in twee slimfone, twee beursies, geld, paspoorte, rybewyse en identiteitsdokumente (ID\u2019s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEk het nie besef wat besig was om te gebeur nie, en sou hulle [die rowers] nooit ingelaat nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy dogter moet nou matriek skryf, maar haar ID is gesteel, en dit gaan lank vat om weer een te kry,\u201d het De Wet-Silver gefrustreerd ges\u00ea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens haar het haar ma vooruit gestap terwyl die twee rowers agter haar van kamer tot kamer gestap het waar sy die kragproppe gewys het wat hulle kamstig moes inspekteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHulle het toe net als gegryp wat hulle in die hande kon kry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy kamerdeur was effens toe, en my ma het ges\u00ea hulle hoef nie daar in te gaan nie, maar hulle het daarop aangedring.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens De Wet-Silver was die rowers vriendelik en glad nie haastig nie; nie eens toe sy op uiteindelik besef wat aan die gebeur was nie en die beheerliggaam gebel het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHulle [die rowers] het toe net uitgestap en my ma het vir hulle die hek oopgemaak.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens haar het een van die rowers aan die passasierskant van \u2019n eenton- vragmotor ingeklim, waarna dit weggery het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die gesin het die Paarl-polisie dadelik n\u00e1 die voorval besoek waarna hulle \u2019n klagte aangemeld het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Wet-Silver het egter ges\u00ea sy het nog nie \u2019n saaknommer ontvang, of \u2019n oproep van \u2019n speurder om vingerafdrukke te neem nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Paarl-polisie het nie op navrae reageer nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
