{"id":266040,"date":"2025-07-11T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T03:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/paarlpost\/?p=266040"},"modified":"2025-07-10T12:19:17","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T10:19:17","slug":"klapmuts-man-se-facebook-aankoop-lei-tot-rooftog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/paarlpost\/klapmuts-man-se-facebook-aankoop-lei-tot-rooftog\/","title":{"rendered":"Klapmuts-man se Facebook-aankoop lei tot rooftog"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Theodore Cloete (36) van Klapmuts is op 27 Junie saam met &#8216;n vriend in Philippi op die Kaapse Vlakte deur sewe mans beroof wat voorgegee het dat hulle verko- pers van &#8216;n hommeltuig op Facebook Marketplace is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die twee het omstreeks 10:15 by die huisadres aangekom om die hommeltuig  te gaan haal.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cloete, die eienaar van die klankmaat- skappy Level 5 Entertainment in Klapmuts, het nie iets agterdogtigs vermoed nie.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens &#8216;n berig van <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netwerk24.com\/netwerk24\/nuus\/misdaad\/facebook-marketplace-tata-toe-kom-7-met-vuurwapens-en-vat-alles-20250702\">Netwerk24<\/a><\/em> het sewe jong mans \u2013 sommige gewapen \u2013 die slagoffers oorval kort nadat hulle uit hul voertuig geklim het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cloete vertel dat &#8216;n jong seun met hul aankoms buite die huis gestaan het. Hy het hulle glo gevra om uit te klim en die hommeltuig in die huis te gaan haal. Kort daarna het die seun &#8220;tata!&#8221; geskree, waarna die groep mans hulle bestorm en hul besittings afgevat het.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/paarlpost\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/514102686_100438136_56871.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&#8216;n Tromstel is ook gesteel. Foto: Faren-Ann Hartzenberg\/ Facebook<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens Cloete is hy en sy vriend met vuurwapens gedreig terwyl die aanvallers geld en waardevolle artikels ge\u00ebis het. Die groep het uiteindelik gevlug met sowat R4\u2009500 kontant, twee selfone (&#8216;n iPhone en &#8216;n Samsung), asook &#8216;n trom- stel wat in die bagasiebak van hul voertuig was, het<em> Netwerk24 <\/em>berig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die BMW E90 waarmee hulle gery het, is ook gesteel. Cloete en sy vriend is hulpeloos agtergelaat met net die klere aan hul lyf.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/paarlpost\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/500837272_100438102_03227.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Die BMW E90 wat gesteel is. \nFoto: Faren-Ann Hartzenberg\/ Facebook<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Verskeie pogings om hulp te kry het misluk \u2013 selfs &#8216;n sekuriteitswag by &#8216;n nabygele\u00eb inkopiesentrum en bure by die huis waar die voorval plaasgevind het, het geweier om in te gryp.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uiteindelik kon die twee wel die owerhede bereik en het hulle hul by die Philippi-polisiekantoor gaan aanmeld. &#8216;n Familielid het hulle daar kom haal, volgens <em>Netwerk24<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By hul terugkeer in Klapmuts is &#8216;n amptelike saak by die plaaslike polisiekantoor geopen.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sers.
