{"id":82578,"date":"2025-04-30T16:23:07","date_gmt":"2025-04-30T14:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/bejaarde-85-van-bainsvlei-sterf-in-hofselle\/"},"modified":"2025-04-30T16:24:19","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T14:24:19","slug":"bejaarde-85-van-bainsvlei-sterf-in-hofselle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/bejaarde-85-van-bainsvlei-sterf-in-hofselle\/","title":{"rendered":"Bejaarde (85) van Bainsvlei sterf in hofselle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Die bejaarde man van Bainsvlei buite Bloemfontein, wat gister in die hof moes verskyn nadat hy sy seun glo doodgeskiet het, is in die hofselle dood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gert Bruhns (85) sou op Dinsdag 29 April in die hof verskyn om vir borgtog aansoek te doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hy is tot gister aangehou nadat hy na bewering sy seun Erich (56) op Saterdag 19 April geskiet het.<br>Erich is by &#8216;n woonhuis in Meadhurstlaan in Bainsvlei in die nek geskiet en is deur nooddienste na die hospitaal gebring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bruhns is daarna naby die N1 in hegtenis geneem en &#8216;n  gelaaide vuurwapen en ammunisie is by hom gevind. Erich is kort daarna in die hospitaal dood en die klagstaat is na moord verander.<br>Bruhns het op Dinsdag 22 April in die hof verskyn, waarna die datum waarop hy om borgtog sou aansoek doen, na Dinsdag uitgestel is. Hy het dus in aanhouding gebly en is gister dood kort voordat hy om borgtog kon aansoek doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Mojalefa Senokoatsane, woordvoerder van die Nasionale Vervolgingsgesag (NVG), het bevestig dat die aangeklaagde gister in die hofselle dood is. Hy s\u00ea die oorsaak van Bruhns dood terwyl hy in aanhouding was, is nog nie bekend nie.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gert Bruhns, &#8216;n 85-jarige man van Bainsvlei, is gister in die hofselle dood.
