{"id":61778,"date":"2018-12-06T06:02:13","date_gmt":"2018-12-06T04:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/jong-sportsterre-bekroon-20181205-3\/"},"modified":"2025-03-20T17:45:56","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T15:45:56","slug":"jong-sportsterre-bekroon-20181205-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/jong-sportsterre-bekroon-20181205-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Jong sportsterre bekroon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Die SuperSport Let\u2019s Play Sportster van die jaar-toekennings vir die Noord-Kaapse koerante, <i>Noordkaap<\/i>, <i>Express Northern Cape<\/i> en <i>Kalahari Bulletin<\/i> is op Donderdag 29 November by die Flamingo Casino-konferensiesentrum in Kimberley gehou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eerste en tweede plekke is toegeken vir elkeen van die bogenoemde publikasies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eugene Jacobs, die uitvoerende hoof van Noord-Kaap Krieket, en Geraldine Faber, \u2019n verteenwoordiger van Specsavers, was die gassprekers tydens die geleentheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specsavers het \u2019n R2 000-koepon vir Police-sonbrille vir die wenners geborg, sowel as drie R500 geskenkbewyse vir die naaswenners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daar was ook Infinity-sonbrille ter waarde van R690 vir elkeen van die ouers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjuzel Venter en Dani\u00ebl du Toit is onderskeidelik as die <i>Noordkaap<\/i>-wenner en -naaswenner van vanjaar se kompetisie gekroon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Die wenner van vanjaar se Noordkaap Let\u2019s Play Sportster van die jaar kompetisie is die 14-jarige Marjuzel Venter. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjuzel, \u2019n gr.8-leerling aan die Ho\u00ebrskool Diamantveld in Kimberley, is \u2019n veelsydige sportster wat die afgelope paar jaar op plaaslike-, -nasionale- en internasionale vlak besonderse prestasies behaal het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjuzel is as Juniemaand se wenner van die Noordkaap Let\u2019s Play Sportster van die jaar kompetisie gekies vir haar puik prestasie in tennis en netbal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit is veral op die tennisbaan waar Marjuzel vanjaar geskitter het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nie net speel Marjuzel vir haar skool se eerste tennisspan nie, sy beklee ook die eerste plek in die Noord-Kaapse provinsiale o.15-tennisranglys. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjuzel is vanjaar vir die derde jaar agtereenvolgende jaar vir die Suid-Afrikaanse junior Springbok o.15-tennisspan gekies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sy het in Julie as deel van die Suid-Afrikaanse span in na die Verenigde Koninkryk getoer waar sy nie \u2019n enkele wedstryd verloor het nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjuzel is ook die onderkaptein van haar skool se o.14A-netbalspan en is vanjaar weer in die provinsiale o.14-span ingesluit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjuzel se leuse is: \u201cWees altyd passievol en ten volle toegewyd aan alles wat jy aanpak. Werk hard om jou gegewe talente te ontwikkel, maar bly beskeie wanneer jy sukses behaal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Die naaswenner van vanjaar se Noordkaap Let\u2019s Play Sportster van die jaar kompetisie is Dani\u00ebl du Toit. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl,\u2019n gr.11-leerling aan die Ho\u00ebrskool de Aar, is veelsydige sportman wat die afgelope paar jaar op plaaslike-, -nasionale- en internasionale vlak besonderse prestasies behaal het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl is as Augustusmaand se wenner van die Noordkaap Let\u2019s Play Sportster van die jaar kompetisie gekies vir sy puik prestasie in tennis, krieket \u2013 maar veral in skiet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl is sedert 2016 deel van die Junior Protea-skietspan waar hy Suid-Afrika op internasionale vlak verteenwoordig het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hy is vanjaar ook as die kaptein van die o.19 Junior Protea-Span gekies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl het as deel van di\u00e9 span by die 149ste Imperial-kompetisie in Engeland teen skuts van Engeland en Kanada deelgeneem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buiten sy internasionale prestasies in skiet is Dani\u00ebl ook \u2019n veelsydige sportman wat oor die afgelope paar jaar aan verskeie sportsoorte soos tennis, krieket en atletiek deelgeneem en presteer het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl het vanjaar (2018): <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Die Noord-Kaapse eerste tennisspan gehaal <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Sy skool se eerste krieketspan gehaal <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Hy is ook as die kaptein van sy skool se krieketspan gekies <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl glo dat sport \u2019n belangrike deel van elke kind se ontwikkeling is. Hy sien sport as iets wat gemeenskappe saambind, ongeag jou ras, kultuur, ouderdom of status soos ge\u00ebnspireer deur oud-president Nelson Mandela tydens die Rugby-W\u00eareldbekker van 1995. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl het twee leuses: een vir die lewe en een vir sport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dani\u00ebl se leuse vir sport is: \u201cMoed opgee is eenvoudig nie \u2019n opsie nie.\u201d
