Some of the interventions include the supply of 10 000 litre water tanks and protective gear as well as the provision of food and hygiene parcels for community members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The provision of emergency water to informal settlements, shelter for the homeless, food hampers to indigent households and meals are also being provided at a soup kitchen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A quarantine area as well as a local testing centre, health equipment and hygiene implements, has been established with the assistance of economic development investors working together with the municipality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kathu Solar Park, REISA Solar Farm, Sishen Solar, Kumba Iron Ore, Assmang Mine and the SIOC Community Development Trust in Kathu have pledged their commitment towards social relief and humanitarian initiatives to assist communities.
