Make a wood stacker that will help your baby or toddler learn about order and balance, and also how to use his or her creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 1 piece of pine wood of 22 mm x 220 mm x 1 800 mm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dowel 19 mm x 1 800 mm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 3,5 x 30 mm chipboard screw<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hand drill<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Drill bit (star point)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 19 mm spade bit<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • P100 grid sanding paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Tape measure<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Pencil<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Wood glue<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Paint brush<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 7 Different colours of paint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Step by step:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Cut the dowel in the following measurements: 19 mm x 1 800 mm; and the piece of wood in the following: 22 mm x 153 mm x 153 mm, 22 mm x 140 mm x 140 mm, 22 mm x 127 mm x 127 mm, 22 mm x 114 mm x 114mm, 22 mm x 102 mm x 102 mm, 22 mm x 89 mm x 89 mm and 22 mm x 76 mm x 76 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Sand the wood pieces and dowel until it is smooth and has no splints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Take all the wood pieces and dowel, paint each piece a different colour and let the paint dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Take the 22 mm x 153 mm x 153 mm wood piece, make a mark in the middle and drill a hole in the half of the wood, with the spade bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Put wood glue in the hole and place the dowel in the glued hole, drill a screw under- neath the hole and through the dowel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Take the rest of the wood pieces, make a mark in the middle of each piece and drill a hole through each wood piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Place the wood pieces through the dowel \u2013 from the biggest piece to the smallest piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
