<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\nBrig. Mohale Ramatseba, police spokesperson, says the incident occurred in May 2014 when Mokone took the child to his sister\u2019s RDP house and raped her in the presence of the child\u2019s friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the incident the child was playing with her two friends who are the same age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She apparently then asked Mokone for money whereafter he took them to the house where the incident occured. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thereafter he gave the two children money to go and buy him cigarettes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon their return, he then gave them the change from the money and told them not to tell anyone about what had happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the girl arrived home, she told her grandmother about the incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police were notified and the accused was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The provincial head of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, Brig. Nicky Mills, commended Sgt Reginald Kwenamore for his investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
