Verlede jaar oor dieselfde tyd is 1 448 mense op die paaie dood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mbalula s\u00ea wat kommerwekkend is, is dat meer noodlottige sterftes per ongeluk aangeteken is as in die verlede. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie syfers is \u2019n aanduiding dat baie voertuie wat in noodlottige ongelukke betrokke was \u2019n groot aantal insittendes gehad het. Ongelukke het veral op Vrydae, Saterdae en Sondae tussen 17:00 en 19:00 gebeur.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hy s\u00ea ligte motorvoertuie was by die meeste ongelukke betrokke (49%), gevolg deur ligte afleweringsvoertuie (17%), minibustaxi\u2019s (8%) en vragmotors (6%). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><superbyline><name><strong>\u2013 Netwerk24<\/strong><\/name>
