Skenkers het verlede week ingespring om die DBV in Kimberley by te staan nadat di\u00e9 organisasie twee weke gelede onder \u2019n inbraak deurgeloop het en onder meer kluise en rekenaar\u00adtoerusting kwyt is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens Alet Steyn, DBV-voorsitter, het die inbrekers toegang verkry deur \u2019n dakplaat te sny en oop te buig en die plafon te breek. Die kluise is onder meer oopgesny. Benewens skootrekenaars en selfone, is drie dae se kontantinkomste gesteel en die kringtelevisiestelsel verwoes. Verskeie ander artikels is \u00f3f gesteel \u00f3f beskadig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die kantoor was hierna twee dae lank gesluit sodat personeel kon skoonmaak en gegewens in orde bring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns het al ons elektroniese data verloor en sal papierwerk moet gebruik om weer elektroniese gegewens op te bou. Die eerste dag n\u00e1 die inbraak was ons kantoorblok onveilig. Terwyl ons gewag het dat die polisie die ondersoek voltooi, kon ons nie opruim of herstelwerk doen nie,\u201d s\u00ea Steyn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLinja Allen van NC Security Solutions het vir ons twee nagwagte geborg om ons kantoor op te pas totdat polisie genoeg bewyse bymekaar kon maak. Kimberley Aluminium & Glass het die ruite gratis vervang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c \u2019n Anonieme sakeman van Kimberley het \u2019n selfoon en \u2019n skootrekenaar geskenk. Rudolf Louw van Joz the Key Man het ons beskadigde groot kluis gratis verwyder. Hy het \u2019n nuwe soortgelyke kluis geskenk en dit gratis ingesit. Gearbox & Diff Centre het die kluise gratis vervoer, en Louis Ferreira het ook \u2019n kluis geskenk. Hardcore Security het gratis \u2019n alarmstelsel in werking gestel en sal dit gratis moniteer. Ekapa-myn het twee opgeknapte rekenaars geskenk en gaan nog skenk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steyn s\u00ea hulle benodig nog nuwe dakplate en plafonplanke, asook \u2019n houtdeur en heinings. Hond- en katkos is altyd welkom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
