Hannelie Meyer, hoof van die Suid-Afrikaanse Sentrum vir Inenting en Immunisering (Savic), verlede week in \u2019n inligtingsessie van die Suid-Afrikaanse reguleerder vir gesondheidsprodukte (Sahpra) ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sahpra het die inligtingsessie gehou om die verskil tussen newe-effekte en nadelige effekte van entstowwe teen Covid-19 te verduidelik. Op \u2019n vraag oor die uitwerking van die Johnson &amp; Johnson- en Pfizer-entstof het Meyer ges\u00ea dit is baie veilig en geen sterftes is deur die entstof veroorsaak nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daar is in Suid-Afrika ook navorsing gedoen oor mense wat ernstige nadelige effekte aangemeld het en slegs nege van di\u00e9 gevalle is as \u2019n regstreekse nagevolg van \u2019n inenting bewys \u2013 en dit terwyl miljoene mense inge\u00ebnt is, s\u00ea Meyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meyer het ges\u00ea daar is newe-effekte, maar dat daar \u2019n verskil is tussen newe-effekte en ernstige nagevolge. Dit is te wagte dat mense wat inge\u00ebnt is in een uit elke tien gevalle algemene ligte newe-effekte sal h\u00ea. Dit is ook deur die vervaardigers van die entstof gelys en is te wagte. Die ligte\u00ad newe-effekte wat mense n\u00e1 \u2019n inenting kry, soos lyfseer en koors, wys dat \u2019n mens se liggaam\u00ad reageer op die entstof en gereed maak vir indien dit aan die virus self blootgestel word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gevalle van ernstige gevolge word nie verwag nie en kom voor in een uit elke 100 000 tot een uit elke 1 miljoen inentings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><superbyline><br>\n
