On Saturday morning, 28 May, a fire broke out in my house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I managed to control it, but realised that I needed help, as it could break out again \u2013 which it did. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In bed socks and dressing gown, I ran to my neighbours, but could not rouse them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I turned and saw two joggers coming towards me. I asked if they had a phone with them, which they did not, but between us we managed to attract the attention of my neighbour, who phoned the fire brigade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The gentleman came in and managed to douse the remaining embers and, when the fire brigade and emergency services arrived, everything was under control. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank you to them for checking everything and for their kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
