The Northern Cape Bowling teams and their members, who will represent the province at the Bowls South African U18 National Championships, have been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Team one consists of Kieran Kelly (Beaconsfield Bowls Club), Keegan Minopetros (Beaconsfield), Daniel Schoeman (Bloemhof), Kenneth Penderis (Prieska), and Eben Kock, as a reserve (Hanover).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Team two has the following members: Danie Herholdt (Van der Kloof), Jacen Penderis (Prieska), Nadine Keulder (Prieska), Hannah Rowan (Beacons\u00adfield), and Karabo Siya-siya as the reserve player (Warrenton).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The championships will be held in Bloemfontein from 3 to 6 April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bowls, which was traditionally mostly associated with older players, is becoming more popular amongst the youth. It is seen as an ideal sports for youngsters who do not like to take part in contact sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The highest rated physical attributes in playing bowls are balance, coordination and flexibility, according to topendsports.com. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
