This remark was made by Kobus Burger of Oryx Endurance Event Management, which presented the inaugural Ride2TheKaroo 100 Miler between Kimberley and Klipkraal at Hopetown on Saturday (26\/08).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Burger said the camaraderie among fellow cyclists, the cheers from the sidelines, and the triumphant feeling of crossing the finishing line, all while battling the elements, contributed to the unique spirit of this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the men\u2019s category, Dusty Day was the first to cross the finishing line in 6:39:54. In second place was Izak Strauss (6:39:56), and in third place Philo Nel (6:57:53).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the women\u2019s category, winner Johanet Heymann crossed the finishing line in 7:21:34. Angelique Nel was second (7:44:52), and Madeleine Pieterse third (8:42:16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the relay team category, team Trek Saam, comprising Hennie Burger and Stoffel van der Westhuizen, ended first in 7:03:09. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second team was Oryx Endurance in 7:21:33, with Jayden Pretorius and Ruan Venter as the team members. Team Fast and Furious, with Thea Cilliers, Carli Bouwer, Michaela Mitchley and Adriaan Botha, ended third in 8:04:02.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Burger previously said that Oryx Endurance Event Management strives to deliver safe and unforgettable experiences for participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
