Hiertydens sal onder andere dr. James Liddell, voorsitter van die Philippolis 200-feeskomitee, \u2019n spreekbeurt kry; prof. Doreen Atkinson, sekretaresse, en van die Karoo Ontwikkelingstigting; asook prof. Sethulego Matebesi van die Universiteit van die Vrystaat (UV). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boodskappe sal deur Griekwa-leiers oorgedra word, onder andere Barend van Wyk, Cecil le Fleur, AAS le Fleur, dr. Vivian Kok en kaptein Andrew Kraalshoek II. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op die Nienaberplein in die dorp sal die burgemeester \u2019n woord van verwelkoming spreek, gevolg deur \u2019n foto- en kransleggingsgeleentheid. Duiwe word vrygelaat, en kore tree op.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belangrike mense in Philippolis se geskiedenis sluit onder andere Adam Kok II en III in; die sendeling dr. John Philip, na wie die dorp genoem is; ds.
