Here, four of nine theatres are in use, resulting in a surgery backlog of 6 373.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\" data-embed24=\"Images\" data-pos=\"middle\" id=\"embed_6fec62a8\">\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-smallsrc=\"https:\/\/cdn.24.co.za\/files\/Cms\/General\/d\/9657\/6d368e3b19f945189f03fea3bedd9b60.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/675b4f02857f42a98b78e01f56ad06b3.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/figure><div class=\"slide\"><p><\/p>\n<div class=\"img_accreditation\"><span class=\"source\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/span><span class=\"photographer\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier Fritz said a spate of assaults were taking place at the new mental hospital. Nine out of ten reported incidents were caused by an out-of-stock antipsychotic agent, critical to control violence and aggression in patients suffering from amongst others schizo\u00adaffective and bipolar disorders. In three cases, staff were assaulted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe practice of rewarding those who steal from the sick, and retaining them within the health system or provincial government, must come to
