Die geleentheid deur die Veterane-bystandfonds het ten doel om Suid-Afrikaanse mans wat destyds deur die wet verplig was om nasionale diensplig te verrig, te bereik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Di\u00e9 fonds reik na veterane oor die land heen uit, en bied geleenthede aan waartydens gratis maaltye, musiek, geskenkpakkies en inkopie-geskenkbewyse eksklusief aan die betrokke veterane gebied word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nasionale dienspligveterane in en om Kimberley word genooi na s\u00f3 \u2019n geleentheid op Donderdag 18 Januarie vanaf 10:00 tot 13:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deur hul identiteit- en Sassa-kaart saam te bring, kan hulle \u2019n gratis inkopie-geskenkbewys van R500 ontvang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nasionale dienspligveterane wat nie Sassa-pensioentrekkers is nie, word ook genooi om die geleenthede by te woon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om plek te bespreek, SMS die woord \u201cKimberley\u201d met die veteraan se naam na 31429, of stuur \u2019n WhatsApp-boodskap na 073-868-0781. Nadat s\u00f3 \u2019n boodskap ontvang is, sal die fonds die betrokke veteraan kontak om meer besonderhede te verskaf.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Veterane-bystandfonds is nie \u2019n milit\u00eare organisasie, klub of vereniging nie; het geen lede nie; hef nie lidmaatskapfooie nie en bied geen lidmaatskapvoordele aan nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die fonds is ook nie geaffilieer aan enige milit\u00eare organisasie of die regering nie; en is totaal afhanklik van skenkings om noodverligting aan nasionale diensplig-veterane bied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die fonds is in Oktober 2019 gestig en kon reeds binne die eerste tien maande tot verblyf en maaltye vir 69 veterane in nood bydra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
