Die nuwe kerkgebou is opgerig op \u2019n stuk grond waarop daar jare lank net \u2019n staalstruktuur van \u2019n ander kerkgebou was wat daarop gebou sou word. Daarna is die grond opgedeel in erwe wat te koop aangebied is, maar dit is skynbaar later deur Boshoff vir sy nuwe kerk bekom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018n Gemeentelid noem die kerkgebou die \u201cverwelkomende ingangspoorte na die stad\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Langs die kerkgebou word \u2019n nuwe struktuur vir \u2019n bekende hardeware-groep opgerig. By die toegangspad na die kerk is \u2019n nuwe verkeersirkel op die N12 aangebring om die verkeersvloei te vergemaklik. Tans word die parkeerterrein met plaveiselstene uitgepak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Verlede jaar is \u2019n kilometer\u00adlange elektriese kabel van byna R1 miljoen tussen die bouterreine en die onbewaakte munisipale substasie gesteel wat die Sol Plaatje-munisipaliteit, wat nie erfbelasting van kerke vereis nie, noodgedwonge moes vervang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die nuwe gebou is veel anders as die kleiner gebou in Ernestville. Di\u00e9 gebou is glo meer as 30 jaar oud. Twee oggenddienste is elke Sondag gehou om die meer as 2 500 kerklede te bedien. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lede van tot so ver soos Roodepan, wat 15 km uit die stad is, word Sondae vir kerkdienste aangery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
