Continuing its commitment to supporting local tertiary education, the Kathu Solar Park has expanded its support programme of the Kuruman Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the initial phase, which has provided study bursaries to over 40 students, the second phase includes substantial upgrades to the college\u2019s four computer labs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aimed at benefitting nearly 1 000 students with state-of-the-art technical equipment, it will improve the learning environment. The solar park has provided 80 desktop computers and desktop accessories, fully equipping four computer labs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This support will strengthen the college, which is essential for providing tertiary education in remote communities and enhancing the quality of education and the student learning experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zandile Nkone, CEO of the Kathu Solar Park, said this not only prepares students for the workforce but also supports local economic growth by enhancing employability within the community.
