Drie oudstudente van \u2019n kollege in Kimberley se drome om verder in onderwys te studeer is in skerwe nadat hulle twee-en-\u2019n-half jaar nadat hulle afstudeer het, steeds nie hul sertifikate ontvang het nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intussen s\u00ea di\u00e9 kollege in verdere onderwys en opleiding, die Dru-A FET-kollege, dat hulle onder druk is omdat die onderwys-, opleiding en ontwikkelingspraktyke vir sektor onderwys- en opleidingsowerheid (ETDP Seta) ondanks vele versoeke en weens probleme met rekenaarstelsels nie die sertifikate kon uitreik nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van die moedelose studente het opgegee om die sertifikate te versoek. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een van hulle se ouers, Pearly Runcie, s\u00ea die kursus het hulle R15 000 gekos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns soek die sertifikaat en kon dit n\u00e1 twee jaar nog nie kry nie,\u201d s\u00ea Runcie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haar dogter, Roxanne Runcie, s\u00ea sy en vier ander studente het die jaarlangekursus in vroe\u00ebkinderontwikkeling op die nasionale kwalifikasieraamwerk (NQF) 4 in 2021 voltooi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSedertdien kan ek nie na die volgende vlak vorder sonder die sertifikaat nie. My droom was om n\u00e1 die verkryging van die NQF5- sertifikaat, onderwys by \u2019n universiteit te studeer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDit is \u2019n baie goeie kollege en die kursus en personeel was baie professioneel en interessant. Ons het ses maande teorie en ses maande prakties gedoen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haar eertydse klasmaat, Geralda Breda, is ook moedeloos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEk is terneergedruk. Daar is soveel verlore geleenthede en ek word nie jonger nie. Die kursus was wonderlik, ek het nooit gedink ons sal met die probleem sit nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEk gaan nou maar werk in Johannesburg soek.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nog \u2019n student, wat anoniem wil bly, bly nou in Kaapstad. Sy s\u00ea onderwys is haar passie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMinstens het die kollege vir my \u2019n afskrif van die sertifikaat gestuur en studeer ek verder vir die NQF5-kwalifikasie terwyl ek as \u2019n au pair werk, met die hoop om onderwys te studeer. Ek wil graag onderwys aan kinders met spesiale behoeftes gee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Afhanklik van Seta vir uitreiking\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dirk Andrews, kollegehoof, s\u00ea Dru-A FET het verskeie geldige akkreditasies by ETDP Seta, maar is afhanklik van die Seta om die sertifikate uit te reik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns hoop om binnekort die sertifikate uit te reik nadat die Seta se rekenaarsisteme uiteindelik operasioneel geword het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns kan slegs bevoegdheid\u00adsertifikaat uitreik nadat Seta interne prosesse voltooi het. Die kollege is verantwoordelik vir assessering en moderering, maar Seta doen verifikasie en reik die verklaring van resultate uit ingevolge hul verifikasie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVerskaffers van opleiding moet in opdrag van Seta die gehalteversekering finaliseer voordat \u2019n bevoegdheidsertifikaat uitgereik kan word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns het al heelwat kere met die Seta oor di\u00e9 unieke situasie korrespondeer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEk het talle briewe wat dui op die vertragings aan Seta se kant wat ons belemmer het om sertifikate uit te reik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns kommunikeer gereeld met studente, en ons het e-posse wat daarvan getuig.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy s\u00ea al die studente is nou geassesseer en intern gemodereer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns wag net vir die finale verifikasie van die Seta sodat ons die studente van oorspronklike sertifikate kan voorsien. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns wag op terugvoering van die Seta vir die finale datum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAl ons ander studente het sertifikate ontvang vir die ander kursusse wat ons aanbied. Sommige studente ontvang ingenieursertifikate n\u00e1 elke trimester,\u201d s\u00ea hy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
