Die 26ste WildsKOSfees wat Saterdag 6 Junie aangebied is, was ‘n dag van Vrystaatse oorvloed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die weer het vanjaar perfek saamgespeel en ‘n helder wintersdag gelewer waarop vleisbraaivure van vroegoggend oor die plaas gehang het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hannelie Henning en haar man, Charl (voor) van Pretoria en hul dogter Carla Barnard (van Kathu) het poseer by die buffelkop by die stalletjie waar ‘n buffel vanjaar vir die eerste keer op die WildsKOSfees op ‘n spit gaargemaak is.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dit was ‘n dag waarop lekkerbekke kon smul aan al die maniere waarop Marie Lombard en haar span wildsvleis tot gourmet-disse verwerk. Elk van die 120 unieke geregte uniek en perfek voorberei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natuurlik was een van die hoogtepunte van die dag die buffel wat Pierre Schutte met ‘n meesterhand op die reuse-spit gaargemaak het. Gaste het in rye gestaan om die delikatesse ‘n eerste keer te proe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dit was nie ‘n maklike taak nie, maar die vleis het uitgekom soos ek dit in my kop gehad het,” het Schutte oor di\u00e9 interessantheid ges\u00ea. Pierre het al talle osse op die spit gaargemaak, en het di\u00e9 buffel as ‘n lekker uitdaging gesien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By ‘n ander stalletjie kon gaste nie wag om ‘n stukkie-krokodil te proe nie. Dennis Louw en Charlie van der Linde is al ou hande en weet hoe om daardie vreemde wit vleis lekker sappig voor te sit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oudergewoonte was van die land se beste wyne op die fees te proe – elke happie afgesluk met meesterwyne vir ‘n smaaksensasie soos min. Gaste kon hul voorraad wyn in die wynwinkel aanvul met wyn van landgoedwyne soos Iona, Kranskop, Raats Family Wines, Beyerskloof, Spier en vele meer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
