PHOTO: Supplied<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme focused on three key developmental modules, namely &#8220;Knowing Yourself&#8221;, &#8220;Subjects and Career Choices&#8221;, and &#8220;Journey Mapping&#8221;, each designed to promote self-discovery, informed decision-making and goal-setting.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is important that our beneficiary learners are guided well into making the right subject choices in Grade 9, as this directly influences eligibility for tertiary education and future career paths. By fostering self-awareness and equipping learners with practical decision-making tools, we are investing in long-term success of youth across our beneficiary communities,&#8221; said Lesego Mosiane, social performance practitioner for <a href=\"https:\/\/matlaabokonesolar.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matla A Bokone Solar<\/a>, programme funders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ALSO READ: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/bursary-fuels-passion-of-uplifting-young-ones-reaching-educational-goals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bursary fuels passion of uplifting young ones; reaching educational goals<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative, which reached learners of the Boresetse, Barkly West, Dikgatlong, Delportshoop, Vaalrivier, and Reakantswe High Schools, helped to equip the learners with the tools needed to plan for their futures with confidence.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I enjoyed the Subject vs Career Choice module and found it very informative. It helped me better understand myself and my abilities before deciding on a career,&#8221; said Bonolo Lebididi of Boresetse.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overarching goal is to nurture personal mastery,
