DANI\u00ebLSKUIL <\/strong>– Drie jong mense, waarvan een ‘n wildsveearts, is Sondagmiddag 26 Oktober dood toe die helikopter waarin hulle gevlieg het, in die bergagtige terrein naby Dani\u00eblskuil in die Noord-Kaap neergestort en aan die brand geslaan het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die insittendes was die veearts, dr. Alwyn Venter; sy veearts-assistent Angelo Robbertse; en die vlie\u00ebnier Anlo Ferreira. Hulle was glo van die plaas Elandsvlakte na Olifantshoek onderweg toe die Sud Aviation SE 3130 Alouette II-helikopter teen die Kuruman-heuwels vasgevlieg, neergestort en aan die brand geslaan het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Puik mense wat te vroeg uit die lewe weggeruk is.” S\u00f3 beskryf Piet du Toit van die Rustenburg-omgewing en bekende in wildbedryfkringe, di\u00e9 drie wat oorlede is. Du Toit is die eienaar van die helikopter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy s\u00ea Ferreira was soos ‘n kind in hul huis, en ook sy dogter se k\u00earel. Volgens hom was Ferreira een van die beste vlie\u00ebniers wat hy geken het. Hy het Venter die afgelope ses jaar ook goed leer ken, en s\u00ea hy was geweldig bewaringsbewus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die oorledenes was tussen 23 en 35 jaar oud. Venter het in Pretoria gewoon, en Ferreira in die Rustenburg-omgewing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op ‘n plasing op die Facebook-blad van Nyumbu Wildlife word ges\u00ea dat Venter meer as ‘n veearts was. Hy word as ‘n vriend en gids beskryf, en as iemand wat met mens \u00e9n dier vertrou is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oor Robbertse word geskryf: “Angelo\u2019s quiet dedication and kind spirit always shone through in every visit. Together, they brought comfort, care, and laughter to our farm and to so many others<\/em>“. Robbertse se suster, Anysha Robbertse, skryf op haar Facebook-blad dat hy haar “heel beste maatjie was.
