Soos ek vandag, op &#8216;n Maandag-oggend dat die hond aanhou blaf en die moet-doen-lys lank is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die eerste happie van &#8216;n towerstafie smelt sorge, en sorge verdamp, en ek is meegevoer na &#8216;n plek van pure vreugde. Al is dit net vir nano-oomblikke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-medium-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><blockquote><p>Die ryke, fluweelagtige tekstuur wat stadig op jou tong smelt, die intense aroma wat jou neusgange vul, en die komplekse geure wat dans tussen bitter en soet.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ek is nie &#8216;n vrou vir donkersjokolade nie, maar word verlei deur die romige sagtheid van melksjokolade, of die speelse soetheid van witsjokolade.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit toets my ook. Veral daardie sjokolade wat in stafies kom. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wilskrag is om een af te breek en die res te b\u00eare. Ek dink dit is &#8216;n onmoontlike taak. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ek kan dalk twee b\u00eare, maar ek kan nooit net een eet nie.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wetenskaplikes het bewys dat sjokolade endorfiene vrystel, chemiese stowwe wat ons liggaam se natuurlike gelukshormone is. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit verklaar hoekom &#8216;n stukkie sjokolade nie net soggens nie, maar ook n\u00e1 &#8216;n swaar dag, voel soos &#8216;n warm omhelsing vir die siel.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In &#8216;n haastige w\u00eareld vol stres herinner dit ons daaraan om die klein vreugdes van die lewe te waardeer en onsself toe te laat om, al is dit net &#8216;n oomblik lank, volledig oorgelewer te raak aan iets wat suiwere, onbelemmerde oorgawe is.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sjokolade is nie net kos nie. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit grens aan die dringend noodsaaklike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lees nog rubrieke en meningstukke <a href=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/noordkaapbulletin\/opinion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hier<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sjokolade is salig.
