Die motief was om R80 000 n\u00e1 die moord van twee versekeringspolisse te eis. Twee polisse wat kort voor die moord uitgeneem is, het reeds uitstaande premies gehad en kon dit verval sou nog premies onbetaald bly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die moord is op Saterdag 8 Augustus 2020 deur die drie beskuldigdes beplan. Daar is ooreengekom dat Tier die slagoffer sou verwurg. Die Sondag is die niggie, Ristelle Stenekamp, na die susters se ouerhuis genooi en dronk gemaak. Blykbaar het hulle ook blou tablette, vermoedelik slaappille, in elke glas drank gegooi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spas Tieties, Stenekamp se tannie wat haar grootgemaak het, het getuig benewens epileptiese toevalle was sy gesond. Sy het bekommerd geraak toe haar niggie nie daardie Sondagaand tuisgekom het nie. Tieties het kinders van die buurt sonder sukses uitgestuur om na haar te soek. Twee dae later, terwyl die susters by haar gekuier het, het hulle gehoor ‘n lyk is in die kanaal gevind. Tieties het later haar niggie uitgeken. Die oorledene is volgens die patoloog aan verdrinking dood, en was sy vol kneusplekke en snye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tier het getuig hy het gedink sy is dood nadat hy haar gewurg en sy bewusteloos geraak het. Naledi was hoog swanger, daarom het Mpho hom gehelp om die lyk toe te draai en in ‘n asblik te plaas. Hulle het Denzil Masito, ‘n vriend, gebel om vir Tier en Mpho te help om die lyk na die kanaal te dra. Die vriend het ‘n staatsgetuie geword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Susters se stilswye in hof tel teen hulle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n ‘n Werknemer van die Metropolitan-versekeringsmaatskappy het getuig oor die oproepe wat Naledi na die maatskappy oor die polis van R50 000 gemaak het. Op ‘n keer wou Naledi bevestig of die polis dadelik uitbetaal word n\u00e1 ‘n sterfgeval wat deur ‘n ongeluk veroorsaak is, en of ‘n onnatuurlike dood ook as ‘n ongeluk beskou word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die werknemer het getuig dat hul beleid sedertdien verander het en dat die persoon op wie se lewe ‘n polis uitgeneem word, teenwoordig moet wees met die aansoek. ‘n Polis het gewoonlik ‘n wagperiode van ses maande voordat dit uitbetaal indien iemand aan natuurlike oorsake sterf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mpho het vier dae n\u00e1 haar suster ‘n polis uitgeneem het, ‘n Outsurance-polis van R30 000 op Stenekamp se lewe by ‘n kruidenierswinkel gekoop.<\/p>\n\n\n\nDie susters het geen geld vir die tannie gegee om Stenekamp te begrawe nie. Die tannie het later gesien hulle het baie geld om kos en klere te koop, hul huis uit te verf en partytjies te hou.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Tier is R10 000 vir sy betrokkenheid betaal. Volgens Tier se niggie het hy haar vertel hy het iemand vermoor, en kon daarom nie slaap nie. Hy het glo ‘n beroerte gehad en twee keer probeer om homself om die lewe te bring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die susters se vroe\u00ebre aansoek om ontslag het misluk. Regter WiIliams het bevind dat hul stilswye en besluit om nie te getuig nie, teen hulle getel het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die drie beskuldigdes is ook aan poging tot regsverydeling, en die susters aan bedrog, skuldig bevind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tier het ‘n suksesvolle aansoek ingedien dat ‘n voorvonnisverslag opgestel word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
