Di\u00e9 beslissing is onlangs in die Kuruman-landdroshof uitgespreek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Potso Bogodile (21), Jan Tata (18), Orabile Vincent Motsewakgosi (24) en Kabelo Tata (26) het in hofverrigtinge op 8 Augustus beswaar aangeteken teen die manier waarop hulle voor die hof gebring is. Hulle hou vol hul inhegtenisneming is onregmatig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die vier beskuldigdes is kort n\u00e1 die moord op Venter in September 2024 in hegtenis geneem. Hulle is kort daarna vrygelaat omdat daar nie genoeg bewyse was nie. Die saak is op 10 April van die hofrol vir verdere ondersoek verwyder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AfriForum het dit as &#8216;n regsdwaling beskou. In &#8216;n brief op 12 Junie aan Daniel Phiri, senior staatsaanklaer van die Kuruman-landdroshof, het AfriForum kommer oor die hantering van die saak uitgespreek. Daar is versoek dit sonder verwyl heringeskryf word en na die hooggeregshof oorgeplaas word. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In sy reaksie hierop het adv. JJ Cloete van die Nasionale Vervolgingsgesag (NVG) op 22 Junie bevestig dat die saak nie van die rol verwyder is weens versuim van die vervolgingsgesag nie, maar omdat die hof geweier het om  uitstel toe te staan. Cloete het ges\u00ea die vervolging se herinstelling is afhanklik van DNS-bewyse wat deur die polisie verwerk word. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die verdagtes is op 29 Julie &#8216;n tweede keer in hegtenis geneem.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomas van Dalen, streekshoof van AfriForum in die Noord-Kaap, s\u00ea die verloop dui op diepgaande sistemiese probleme. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Dit is onaanvaarbaar dat moordbeskuldigdes vrygelaat word weens administratiewe tekortkominge en die gebrek aan gereedheid van die staat se meganismes.&#8221; \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die saak word op 27 Oktober in die hooggeregshof aangehoor.
