Nog ‘n aangeklaagde is in die landdroshof in Kimberley by die strafsaak gevoeg waarin adv. Celeste Nameka (43), regsgeleerde van Kimberley, en haar pa Clive Ferris (67) wie ‘n oudskoolhoof is, van onder meer aanranding, moord en poging tot moord aangekla word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Di\u00e9 saak <\/a>is op Woensdag 20 Augustus ook na die hooggeregshof in die stad vir ‘n voorvonnisverhoor oorgeplaas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die nuwe aangeklaagde is Oberay Mibija. Onbekende aanklagte teen hom in ‘n afsonderlike saak is teruggetrek, maar by die strafsaak van Nameka en Ferris gevoeg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Di\u00e9 saak spruit uit ‘n opspraakwekkende skietvoorval wat vroegoggend op 21 Desember 2024 by ‘n woonkompleks in Minerva Gardens in Kimberley plaasgevind het, by die huis waar Nameka saam het haar k\u00earel, Lucan Anthony, gewoon het. Laasgenoemde is glo in sy boud geskiet terwyl sy ma, Charmaine Anthony, in die maag gewond is. Sy is later aan haar beserings in die hospitaal oorlede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nameka het na bewering vir haar pa geskreeu om haar k\u00earel en sy familielede dood te maak met die woorde: \u201cSkiet hulle pappie, skiet hulle almal\u201d – s\u00f3 het die ondersoekbeampte vroe\u00ebr in die borgtogaansoek getuig.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Sers. Modise Clive Moshotloa, ondersoekbeampte, het in sy getuienis verklarings van sekere van die ooggetuies aangehaal en ges\u00ea kringtelevisiebeeldmateriaal van die voorval ondersteun die getuies se weergawes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens hom was ‘n vriendin die oggend by Nameka toe Anthony van sy werk tuiskom. ‘n Rusie het ontstaan waarin Nameka en die k\u00earel mekaar van ontrouheid beskuldig het. Nameka het haar pa gebel, en Anthony sy familielede. Toe Ferris daar aankom het hy met ‘n vuurwapen uit sy bakkie geklim en dit na bewering op Anthony gerig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferris het Anthony ook glo met ‘n gebalde vuis in die gesig geslaan. Anthony beweer in sy verklaring dat Nameka aan haar pa ges\u00ea het: “Skiet hom pappie, skiet hom”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intussen het ‘n Renault-voertuig met vier mans, waarvan twee gemasker was, opgedaag. Nameka het haar glo by di\u00e9 mans geskaar. Anthony het oor die woonkompleks se hek na buite geklim waar sy familielede by hul voertuie was. Nameka het die hek met afstandbeheer oopgemaak terwyl Ferris na bewering met sy vuurwapen Anthony se broers om die motors gejaag het en toe glo ‘n skoot afgevuur het.\u00a0 Charmaine Anthony, wat later aan haar beserings oorlede is, het probeer vlug maar is glo by die voorste motor in haar buik geskiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die afsonderlike saak teen Nameka waarin sy na bewering iemand by die hofsaal ten tyde van haar pa se een hofverskyning gedreig het, is voorlopig teruggetrek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landdros Kubashni Padayachee het die saak tot 24 November uitgestel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intussen sal beto\u00eb in die Regspraktykraad (LPC) se aansoek om Nameka van die rol te skrap, op 31 Oktober in die hooggeregshof in Kimberley aangehoor word.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
