Volgens die Suid-Afrikanse Weerdiens (SAWS) sal hi\u00e9rdie toestande tot ten minste m\u00f4re (27 Junie) voortduur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dele van die provinsie wat die meeste geraak word sluit in die westelike dele, onder andere die Wynlande, Kaapstad, die Cederberge en die Overberg, het die SAWS in &#8216;n persverklaring ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Nat en glibberige paaie kan gevaarlike bestuursomstandighede tot gevolg h\u00ea. Motoriste word aangeraai om versigtig te wees en veiligheidsmaatre\u00ebls na te kom, [en] sterk en rukwinde oor die binneland kan plaaslike skade aan strukture veroorsaak en bome ontwortel.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Koue tot baie koue toestande word verwag, met moontlike sneeuval oor die westelike bergreekse van die Wes-Kaap [insluitend Du Toitskloof en Franschhoek-berge] wat na die suidwestelike binneland van die Noord-Kaap kan uitbrei.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;n Vlak vier weerwaarskuwing vir skadelike golwe, sowel as vlak twee waarskuwings vir ontwrigtende re\u00ebnval en sterk winde in die Wes-Kaap, is ook deur die SAWS bekendgestel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens &#8216;n persverklaring deur Anton Bredell, Wes-Kaapse provinsiale minister van plaaslike regering, omgewingsake en ontwikkelingsbeplanning het die &#8220;Stad Kaapstad gelokaliseerde oorstromings in beide formele en informele nedersettings aangemeld, wat gelei het tot ontwrigting van paaie en stormwaterinfrastruktuur.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In die Kaapse Wynlanddistrik loop die Breederivier tans oor. Oorstromings het gelei tot die sluiting van die Slanghoek- en Scherpenheuwel-br\u00fbe, sowel as Slanghoekweg by die laagwaterdrif. Merwestraat in Worcester word noukeurig dopgehou en kan later vandag gesluit word. Foto:  Kaapse Wynland-distriksmunisipaliteit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reenskade\">Re\u00ebnskade <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Behalwe vir &#8216;n paar gelokaliseerde oorstromings, het dorpe in die wynlande nog nie veel re\u00ebnskade aangemeld nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Franschhoek het oorstromings in Louis Botha-straat aangemeld voor La Cotte Inn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op die R321 tussen Grabouw en Villiersdorp net voor die afrdraai na die R45, of te wel die Franschhoekpas, het &#8216;n rotsstorting plaasgevind wat &#8216;n deel van die pad bedek, en een baan versper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens &#8216;n persverklaring deur die Drakenstein-munisipaliteit is &#8220;geen groot oorstromings of verkeersversteurings aangemeld nie, en het munisipale spanne verskeie probleme aangespreek, insluitend verstopte dreine en plaaslike oorstromings. Foto: Verskaf<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Die munisipaliteit het ook inwoners van Saron bygestaan met sand sakke n\u00e1 verslae van plaaslike oorstromings.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vir noodgevalle, kontak asseblief Drakenstein-munisipaliteit se tolvrye nommer by 080 131 3553.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Wellington het die brandweerdienste van die Kaapse Wynland-distriksmunisipaliteit (KWDM) gereageer op &#8216;n voorval met &#8216;n tenkwa wat salpetersuur vervoer het op die Rooshoek-pad buite Wellington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die tenkwa het laat gisteraand (25 Junie) die pad verlaat en omgeslaan, maar die tenk het ongeskonde gebly en alle diesel is ingeperk. Geen beserings is aangemeld nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die pad was vir &#8216;n paar uur gesluit, maar was teen 09:30 oopgestel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/districtmailhelderberg.co.za\/minor-flooding-reported-as-cold-front-continues-to-lash-helderberg\/\">Die Helderberg Gazette<\/a> berig vanuit Somerset-Wes dat die Helderberg vandag gesukkel met verskeie geringe oorstromingsvoorvalle sedert swaar re\u00ebn die gebied Woensdag (25 Junie) begin tref het, met plaaslike owerhede wat die situasie noukeurig monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die re\u00ebn sal na verwagting teen vanmiddag bedaar, met slegs ligte buie wat vanaf Vrydag verwag word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Stad Kaapstad se Ramprisikobestuursentrum het berig dat hulle Woensdag versoeke vir vloedverligtingstelle van Lwandle en Macassar ontvang het, waar verskeie huise na bewering oorstroom en skade opgedoen het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donderdagoggend (26 Junie) is oorstromings langs Faure Marine Drive aangemeld, wat die gedeelte tussen Broadlands- en Onverwachtpaaie in beide Strand en Gordonsbaai be\u00efnvloed het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talle rotsstortings, insluitend &#8216;n paar groot rotse, is tussen Rooi Els en Gordonsbaai op die R44 aangemeld. Motoriste word aangeraai om uiters versigtig te wees wanneer hulle langs hierdie roetes reis, of, indien moontlik, om alternatiewe paaie te gebruik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Strand, Gordonsbaai en Somerset-Wes is oorlopende stormwater- en rioolpype ook aangemeld.
