Walter Sisulu University (WSU) has received full accreditation for Built Environment Programmes, and further announced the successful completion of its third accreditation cycle for the Built Environment programmes.
South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) has granted full accreditation for a five-year term to WSU’s Diploma in Building Technology, both in the mainstream and extended curriculum programmes.
WSU’s unwavering commitment to its vision and the pursuit of excellence has once again been recognised through the accreditation process.
The accreditation affirms the university’s dedication to maintaining high academic standards and delivering quality education in the field of Built Environment.
The accredited programmes, Diploma in Building Technology in both mainstream and extended curriculum formats, reflect WSU’s commitment to providing diverse learning pathways to students, while ensuring that they receive a comprehensive education in construction and project management.
As part of standard procedure, WSU will submit a comprehensive report for the two accredited programmes to the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
This report will address any identified gaps highlighted by the Accreditation Panel in the third accreditation cycle’s final report.
