These individuals then demand cash payments to prevent the disconnection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We urge all community members to remain vigilant and to make payments only to the official municipal account,&#8221; said Rankwana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Municipal electricians will never request cash payments or provide personal bank account details. If there is any uncertainty, residents should contact the municipality directly for confirmation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All municipal payments must be made at designated municipal cash points or
