Police arrested five wanted suspects, aged between 27 and 43, who were heading to Cape Town in an attempt to flee the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspects are linked to a range of criminal cases, which include armed robbery, kidnapping and
\nattempted murder which occurred around Ngcobo and Cofimvaba areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to
\nPolice Spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana the arrests followed after
\npolice received information about a white VW Polo with five armed occupants
\nheaded for Cape Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said reinforcement from Public Order Police was
\nrequested to block and intercept the suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs the police arrived in Cradock the vehicle was already
\nstopped and a firearm with ammunisation was confiscated. A case of possession
\nof unlicensed firearm and ammunitions was opened for investigation,\u201d said
\nKinana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
