Police are investigating two
\ncases of attempted murder and robbery at Rasmeni and Sentubi locality, which took place last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police Spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, said it is alleged that three unknown men kicked in the door and entered a house at Rasmeni locality where they found children sleeping. The suspects asked the children where their father was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mdleleni said the suspects could not find the father and they alleged fired some shots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhile the police were busy attending to the scene they were called to Santubi locality, where three men again kicked in a door, demanding money
\nand a firearm. They managed to get an undisclosed amount of cash and then fired
\nsome shots, hitting a man (55),\u201d said Mdleleni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She added that the victim was
\nrushed to hospital and is in a stable condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mdleleni confirmed that two
\ncases of attempted murder and house robbery were opened, but no arrests have been made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
