SAPS detectives are looking for the gun-wielding killers of three people on Thursday evening at
\nEkuphumleni locality in Ngcobo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police spokesperson, Brigadier
\nTembinkosi Kinana, their investigation revealed that two unidentified suspects stormed
\ninto a homestead in this locality and started showering a hail of bullets on
\nunsuspecting members of the family. He said during the shooting three family members, aged between 22 and 27, including a neighbour who is alleged to have been
\nsitting outside were fatally wounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnother two family members and a boy (3) were rushed to a
\nnearby hospital for serious injuries sustained during the shooting. They are
\nalleged to be in a critical condition. The motive for the shooting is currently
\nnot known. However, the police have opened three cases of murder and three of
\nattempted murder for investigation,\u201d said Kinana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Liziwe
\nNtshinga, has expressed shock at the killings and immediately ordered a 72-hour
\nactivation plan to mobilise all resources for effective investigations and
\nspeedy arrest of those responsible for the murder incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI need investigators
\nof this case to trace, track and find culprits without delays. A culture of
\nkilling other human beings cannot be tolerated. Those responsible must face
\njustice so that they would account for their deadly actions,\u201d said Ntshinga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
