A GRADE 12 learner from Menzelwa Senior Secondary School, in Mthatha, has published her first book, titled A Kist <\/span>To Take With In the Midst of Love<\/span>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sibusisiwe Nicole Plaatjies said she started writing her book in December last year. She said she is a victim of depression, but she changed her situation to achieve her goal in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile I was hospitalised, I used to read different books. In those books I found that most of the writers were writing about love. I then decided to follow in their steps and write a book that is talking about love with the aim of telling people about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy book is talking about putting yourself first because you may be in love, but find that you don\u2019t have luck when it comes to love,\u201d said Plaatjies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said people should learn to choose themselves as individuals rather than putting others first. Plaatjies added that her book is suitable for all ages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She confirmed that she is busy writing a second book which is titled Black Parents<\/span>, The Pandemic<\/span>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She advised young writers to grab every opportunity they get. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf you are depressed, please know that you are not alone. Ability to control it is what matters. Don\u2019t do anything stupid. When there is life, there is hope.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said if anyone has a skill of writing, he\/she must use it. It does not matter if they are coming from rural areas or they don\u2019t have money because in God, everything is possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
