Tsolo Police are investigating a case of murder after a learner (14) was stabbed to death by another pupil (14) at the Tsolo Residence Primary School yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police Spokesperson, Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana, said it is alleged that a boy came running to a teacher saying he had been stabbed with a scissor by another pupil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries,\u201d said Kinana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He confirmed that no arrest has been made. \u201cThe other minor has been placed in the care of his parents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Organisational Developers for Congress of South African Students (COSAS) spokesperson, Sichumile Plaatjie, confirmed that they will host a meeting with the stakeholders at this school today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs members of COSAS we are very sad of what transpired in this school where learners stabbed each other, which resulted in the death of another learner,\u201d said Plaatjie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Education Spokesperson, Malibongwe Mtima, confirmed that they are aware of the incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
