The chairperson of the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO), Vusi Yase, confirmed that by launching a branch in Ngqeleni, they would bring an improvement in the community, as people would now know who to talk to when they wanted service delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch was held at Ngqeleni Town Hall in Ngqeleni, last week. He said there were a lot of problems in Ngqeleni, regarding service delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHorses are just roaming around. We have a problem with sewage and there are speed humps problems that need to be resolved. If the lights are not working, it takes time for them to be fixed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have so many challenges that need to be resolved,\u201d said Yase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said their municipality was based in Libode, so it is hard for residents to get services but that SANCO would become their weapon to change the situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that they believed that their area was very rich because they also had a nature reserve and access to the ocean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that, due to the bad access roads, it was hard for the tourists to reach those areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He confirmed that they had also elected new members of SANCO in that area, who would make sure that they voiced out the challenges the community was facing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chairperson for SANCO in the region, Vusumzi Ntshuba, said they had launched this branch because they were preparing for their conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
