Three suspects have been arrested following a business robbery shootout at
\nNgcingwane Location, outside Dutywa on Saturday, October 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police
\nspokesperson Captain Siphokazi Mawisa, it is alleged that at least five men entered a shop and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, tobacco and
\ncellphones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe sixth suspect was waiting in a getaway vehicle. The owner
\nalerted armed response who gave chase. A shoot ensued between the
\nsecurity officials and the suspects, leaving a 31-year-old suspect fatally
\nwounded,\u201d said Mawisa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that the other suspects fled the scene with the
\nsecurity and police close on their heels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThree suspects were
\narrested in a nearby village. Two firearms, 14 rounds of ammunition and a magazine were confiscated, including the BMW vehicle that was used in the robbery.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The
\nsuspects aged between 23 and 25 were charged for business
\nrobbery, possession of prohibited firearms and illegal possession of
\nammunition. They are expected to appear in court soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
