I started to be a radio presenter at Unitra Community Radio (UCR FM), which is based in Mthatha, when I was 13 years old. I then left when I was 20, and went back home, but it was not easy to stay at home because I had to do what I like, and look for other opportunities at other community radio stations.

She said that she joined a number of community radio stations, but she had to drop her hustle and focus on her calling. According to her, she had finished the process and is willing to start again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am old enough now, and I have to look for something that will put food on the table and continue with my life. I grew up knowing that I like talking a lot, and I think this is one of things that led me to like radio so much.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mdingi encouraged young people who still want to be radio presenters one day to know that radio is still powerful, and people are still listening to it even though the technology is also taking place online nowadays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe problem that we have is that even though we are over 35 years old we still need to be granted a chance with radio stations. We know that we should give young people a chance, but to be over 35 years old does not mean you do not have your dream that you still want to achieve.
